Similar to another commenter, I popped out the plug underneath the water pitcher shelf and drained out the water. Problem solved. Can you make more videos to solve all my other appliance issues? LOL

I put mine in the dishwasher, wasn’t told it wasn’t dishwasher safe. It warped it bad and the replacement one is like $140 bucks

Mine seems to be inconsistent. Sometimes you hear water going in no matter which option I choose, heavy, normal, or quick clean, the light indicating those turns off pretty quickly. But EACH one starts saying 99+ minutes. It runs sometimes, it gets hot, other times no water? Generally, not cleaning well. And it seems to have run too long a couple of times. It would not respond to the methods described in this video to get an error code, and I did let it run a little to start. Any suggestions from others? Something wrong with that control panel?

No no no. Nothing is standard on these different models on how to get front covers off. Engineers have little math skills and alot of ability to fidget, but not any people commonsense. Microsoft and Apple made fortunes realizing such and invented "user friendly". Coming back are the days when the Chinese Engineers copy MIA and put out devises influenced by ancient lock boxes - it will be so that even mechanics can't get to motors to make repairs.

I had the same problem and came here, but taking the whole assembly apart seemed daunting. Then I noticed the instructions inside the fridge when you take the pitcher out. It says if the autofill light is flashing, put a cup under the shelf the pitcher sits on and remove the plug under that shelf and drain the water out. Took seconds, no screwdrivers required, and works again.

Wow! I have the same problem and in the comments there is no solution. Guess I have to return the Kitchenaid and buy another brand? Thoughts/Comments?

Thanks to this tutorial, I've replaced both the control board and touch pad on my 2 year old dishwasher, but it's still not functioning properly. A light comes only comes on every other function on the touch pad and nothing shows up in the window. What can I check now?

fantastic video. Any idea why the circulating pump would stay on all the time? Replaced the control board and no good. Cycles through a wash cycle with no problem, but the circulating pump never stops during the cycle and anytime the door is closed the pump continues to run regardless of whether the wash is turned on or off.

Thank you. I had disassembled other Frigidaire window air conditioner units. With my 8000 BTU Frigidaire window unit I had the problem of not being able to get the front panel off, And spent at least an hour trying to figure it out before I finally came upon your wonderful video. Your video is the only one that showed to slide the front panel to the side that you want to remove, and following your instructions, it came off easily. Thank you for all the detail with your videos.

For some reason after hitting the first three buttons all the lights are blinking. The blue light is on the bottom, it isn't starting and the display reads 188. Please help. 😢😢😢

one thing i really despise about this machine is how long you have to wait for it to unlock in order to balance a load. Huge time waster. I try so hard to place items in a balanced manner but the washing seems to throw it off so often. i wish there was a way to force it to open. I have to stand around not knowing how long ill have to wait. Does anyone have input on this?
